This semi-fiction multiple-awards winning film was based on the famous gay director James Whale, acted by Ian McKellen.  James Whale was famed for directing Frankenstein.  This film walked us through the life of James, and his interest in straight gardener, Clayton (Brendan Fraser).  An excellent drama, that dealt not with love, but of a gay in his later years in life, and days before death.
