Dear Friends:
It has been a long time I left my job as a volunteer
reporter here. So, I would like to share with you all,
especially those who have not turned up yesterday for
the karaoke cum movie get together.
James organized this karaoke weeks ago and he got a
very good response from the members. At last, 12
members turned up at Red Box. We had a big room to
accommodate everyone comfortably. As far as I
concerned, there was only a newbie, David's friend,
who was very quiet. Dean was the Malaysian Idol judge
to say "see you in KL" or "see you next year,
goodbye". And Alan was back, also he entertained
everyone of us with his amazing sweet voice. Guys, he
really sings like a bird. The powerful duo, Winson and
Desmond sang passionately even without mic. Mind you,
Winson was not feeling well that day, and imagine when
he is completely fine later. And Max led the two
English speaking boys with YMCA, it turned out to be
the worst song of the day, I guess. LOL
Rebuttal from Max singing a Power Station song with
Desmond stole back the limelight later on. Another
pair of song birds, Victor and Raymond never hesitated
to entertain us with their talent in singing. KK never
stopped giving us surprises; at one time he is Jolin,
at another he became Karen. Hmmm....I wonder what else
he can be, let's see next time. And if you want to see
this excellent artistes, you are the most welcome to
join us, or contact James. James was suffering from
sorethroat that day, but he did pair up with me for a
couple of songs.
I bet we have had a wonderful time together, at least
I had. This Malaysian PLU Idol was fun until our
special DIVA guest turned up to show support. With "I
am a Virgin", Ben Poh Suan shyly won the big applause.
Movie time!
This STAR WARS III brought 9 of us together. Win, Des,
David & friend, Darrel, Victor, Ben, Max and me.
Later we had dinner together at Gurney food court. And
later we walked around the complex. Win, Des, David
and friend missed out the "Queer eyes for queer boy"
host by Ben. You all will see this whole new queer boy
soon. LOL
Victor left then and four of us went to POKE balls.
That would be my second time playing pool or pocket
billiards, aiming those 15 cue balls hoping to shoot
them down any of the 6 pockets. Unfortunately, me, the
novice standard, failed many times. Unlike Ben's
apprentice, Darrel, he played really well until I
called it a miracle with jealously.
In conclusion, I have had a great time with my fellow
friends and I hope more of you out there can come to
join us, to keep the flow, to maintain this family, to
cherish the good time together.
Come and join us!
Darrel
Haha Keith!
Thats a nice report you have there.
Anyone wants to know who is the dowdy queer boy who wears uni club T-
shirts and desperately needs a urgent makeover by the queer eye Ben,
assisted by his sidekicks Keith, Max and Victor? Haha! Not going to
tell. :-)
Yeah, the movie was great. I enjoyed it. And was pleasantly impressed
by how Hayden the Darth Vader managed to buff up his body. He used to
be such a scrawny, gothic looking boy when he was acting in the movie
Life as a House with Kelvin Kline.
What a pity I missed the Karaoke.
The Billard game was very nice. Max and Keith played as a team while I
became Ben's constant heartache. Thanks to Ben, our team didnt suffer
a too humiliating a defeat. Yeah, we lost by only ONE black ball! As
for the miracle, Keith is being so nice. It WAS a miracle that I even
managed to get the balls in at all! Haha! I have told you guys, I am
not good at playing with balls! What a shame! Haha!
Well...as always, it was good companionship. Glad to meet David and
Lim. I hope we didnt scare you Lim.:-) Hope to see both of you in our
future activities. David, you look good in your crew cut.
What are you waiting for! Come join our upcoming activities and make new friends, nurture bonds, get support, all while having great fun!
